In the beginning
When setting up the business back in 2007 Rebekah realised that Whitby was missing a "like mother used to make" little eatery, that serve's good old fashioned food, like she had learned to bake with her mother as young girl.
So Humble Pie 'n' Mash
was born.....
We’ve come a long way since our beginnings but the original ethos of Humble Pie 'n' Mash still applies, good old home baked food and good service in unique warm and friendly surroundings

We go to great lengths to source our ingredients. We start locally and if we can’t find a local supplier we throw our net further until we find what we are looking for.
